Post by nobeard » Sat Dec 01, pm Hi, i'm afraid it still has it's original Clarion radio and Lexia reports the fault as "communication with transponder" which as far as i can gather indicates either a faulty com unit, or a faulty BSI unit or possibly a fault somewhere in the wiring between the two. I believe it most likely is the com unit but i don't know that for certain and i can't afford to buy one in the hope it does sort the problem out, in case it doesn't. If anyone's interested, i tried a relay 30A, i think instead of that switch but with the same result, it worked fine as a link but it only switched off, wouldn't switch back on. I've seen them on ebay from scrapped cars so i asked if one from another car would work but he said definately no, it is specific to the car.
If that's right then i guess it means it must need to be programmed so is this something that can be done using Lexia or will i need to get them to do it..
